The Eller College of Management Expansion creates much needed space and services for both existing and new programs while establishing a campus that physically and metaphorically links the new Expansion with McClelland Hall, the University of Arizona and the Community at large.

The design is conceived as a solid mass that is split north to south by a vegetated courtyard.  The additional protection of the canopy transforms the outdoor space into a controlled micro-climate to facilitate year round use of outdoor space.  Upper floors are divided by East/West courtyards with lush landscaping to allow for passive solar orientation and maximum natural light.

Public uses;  multi-use auditoriums, large classrooms, lobby and food service are placed on the ground floor that flow into the shared, social courtyard space.  Private areas of the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, Freedom Center, Tech Launch Arizona, Center for American Ideals and Culture, Executive Education and the MBA program are placed on upper floors but with direct access at multiple points to the lobby and lower level courtyard.
