The Terraza Moderna homes combine the best of old and new to create six premiere private residences that emphasize indoor/outdoor living. Central to the scheme is a large canopy that extends the living areas outside to the landscape courtyard. Lush desert landscape pulls from the existing mesquite, palo-verde, cacti and creosote of the existing surrounding landscape to incorporate this into the project and individual homes. An architectural vocabulary of simple, exterior plaster masses with punched openings responds contextually to the historic adobe homes of the Old Fort Lowell Neighborhood.
The project is uniquely located next to the prestigious old Fort Lowell Neighborhood, and is surrounded by easy access to natural beauty, with trails and parks nearby along with incredible vistas to the Catalina Mountains
